Every once in a while in mankind’s history comes a person who appears to be significantly ahead of their time, and scientific pioneer Walter Russell was one such personality. Born in 1871, Russell gained international recognition for his expansive knowledge and contributions to a variety of fields - from painting, sculpting, music, philosophy to physics and chemistry.
However, while the world knows much of the achievements of other multi-faceted pioneers like Leonardo Da Vinci and Nikola Tesla, an enigma still surrounds Russell’s beliefs and revelations. 8 Facts To Know About Walter Russell: The Multi-Faceted Pioneer
1 - Walter Russell was self-taught
The son of Nova Scotia immigrants in the US, Russell led an unconventional life, leaving behind traditional education at the age of 9 and choosing to follow autodidactism instead in his later years - the art of self-learning by pursuing in-depth knowledge and practicing skills.
Russell deeply believed that every human being is capable of extraordinary feats, and can do so by honoring and recognizing man’s cosmic connection with the universe. The quote below explains this belief in his own words:
“I believe that every man can multiply his own ability by almost constant wordless realization of his unity with his Source. I have, myself, made that feeling so much a part of me that I actually feel myself to be an extension of the Source; that my works are not my own, but interpretations of this Source.”
This mindset allowed him to break free from the conventional practice of restricting oneself to a single area of expertise and learning entrenched concepts and made it possible for him to apply his intellect to a variety of subjects.
2 - A prolific artist and sculptor
Russell was a renowned painter who studied art at the Massachusetts Normal Art School - one of America's oldest art schools. He was a key member of the Boston School of Impressionism in the early 20th century. His most notable artwork is the allegorical masterpiece from 1900, ‘The Might of Ages’, which catapulted him to international fame.
At the age of 53, Russell turned to sculpting and was the artist of choice for several distinguished personalities such as Thomas Edison and Mark Twain.
3 - A cosmic illumination
After enjoying several years of public success as a painter, architect, sculptor, and businessman, Russell experienced what can only be described as a “cosmic illumination” in 1921 - and this altered the course of his life forever.
This deeply intellectual and spiritual experience gave him a deep insight into the nature of matter, light, and the working of the universe. Russell found himself in this remarkable state for 39 days and used this opportunity to draw and write down everything he learned to be able to share it with the world.
4 - The Walter Russell Cosmology
As a result of his profound insight, Russell made a phenomenal discovery - that all matter comes forth from a zero-point field of energy, which is the true essence of the universe. This omniscient field is called the universal source or mind source and is made of electricity. Furthermore, he found that every single piece of matter or element of creation in the cosmos is connected to each other via delicate threads of invisible energy.
This means that far-flung galaxies, black holes, supernovae are all intimately connected to you, me, and all of creation on Earth! As one of these Walter Russell quotes expresses so eloquently, “The electric energy which motivates us is not within our bodies at all. It is a part of the universal supply which flows through us from the Universal Source with an intensity set by our desires and our will.”
5 - Concept Of Atom
One of the most incredible breakthroughs by Walter Russell was his discovery of the nature of the atom, which was in direct defiance to the traditional concepts of matter in physics. Russell found that all of the matter in the material universe is formed as a result of two opposing forces of compression (also called charging) and expansion (also called discharging) - with each atom having a central point of gravity within.
The motion of compression or ‘charge’ puts external pressure on rings of light to compress them in a spiraling motion into atoms - this keeps matter intact and gives it the form that we see with our naked eyes. On the other hand, the expansion force propels this matter to unravel or ‘discharge’ from its compressed state and reunite with the universal source.
Notably, Russell’s findings resonate completely with the concepts behind Omnia’s science. The experiments conducted by Dr. Ilija Lakicevic, inventor of the Omnia Radiation Balancer, led him to similar conclusions as Russell about the nature of matter, and the oscillating ‘compression and expansion’ cycle, which forms the basis of Omnia’s methodology. It is because of his discovery that wireless radiation fields are energy fields that are characterised by an 'imbalance' between the compression and expansion phase, that he was able to devise a solution that restores balance to the radiofrequency radiation fields that we are constantly exposing ourselves to today. He does this by using Deca energy, which is a recent phenomena that was not present in Russell's era.
6 - The Walter Russell Periodic Table
Perhaps the most significant consequence of his illumination was the ‘Russell periodic chart of the Elements' that he introduced in 1926. This periodic table not only offered a lucid and elegant explanation of the composition of atoms and various elements, but also successfully predicted the discovery of radioactive elements such as Deuterium, Tritium, Neptunium, and Plutonium, which were undiscovered at the time.
What is most remarkable about Russell’s periodic table is the completely unconventional approach he takes to explain the ultimate framework of nature and its elements - which, according to him, is wholly musical in its character!
As per this concept, there are a total of nine different ‘octaves’ or ‘pressure states’ in nature, and these nine bands are used to group together elements - with varying forces of compression and expansion.
7 - He warned mankind about radiation
According to Russell’s periodic table, as you progress from one octave to another, the atoms begin to have less of a compression force, and more of an expansion force. This quality makes this class of elements inherently unstable and prone to exploding with extreme pressure. Modern science knows these elements as radioactive elements, and these observations about radioactive particles are correct.
Understanding the inherently dangerous nature of radioactive particles, he tried warning world leaders and the scientific community about the dangers of weaponizing these elements. He believed violent use of radiation could damage and destroy all of life on Earth as we know it.
However, since his beliefs and findings were deemed too revolutionary to be embraced by the wider scientific community, his warnings were unfortunately ignored.
8 - Walter Russell wrote the Universal One and at least 3 other books.
Over the course of his life, Walter Russell authored several insightful books that aimed to reveal these paradigm-shifting concepts about the cosmos, matter, reality, and nature to a wider audience.
Some of his most well-known books are Universal One, The Secret of Light, Atomic Suicide, and The Message Of The Divine Iliad.
The most famous of his works is Universal One, where he masterfully ties in scientific, philosophical, and spiritual concepts to create a profound yet extremely simple understanding of the universe, and our place in it.
Since Russell’s revelations were so ahead of his time, they sadly came across as too futuristic and unconventional for most of his contemporaries. As a result, his scientific findings were not widely accepted at the time, as is the case with most futurists.
However, as our society evolves and grows in awareness, there is hope that more of humankind will finally embrace the immense breadth of learnings and warnings shared with us by Walter Rusell.
