What Is Vibrational Energy? 7 Easy Ways To Balance Your Emotional & Spiritual Energy

“If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration.”
- Nikola Tesla

Imagine meeting someone for the first time or walking into a room and immediately thinking “Ooh I can feel good vibes here”. Has that ever happened to you? If yes, then you’ve unknowingly stumbled upon something deep and fundamentally true about our universe!

From the traditional Indian philosophy of chakras to the Chinese concept of ‘qi’ - the vital life energy, the concept of vibrational energy has been around for thousands of years, across several ancient cultures around the world.

But thinking of vibrational energy only in spiritual terms is half the story - modern science and medicine are beginning to realize how our vibrational energy can have deep and real effects on our physical, mental, and emotional health.

Today, let us take you through what exactly we mean by vibrational energy, and easy ways to balance it within ourselves.

What Is Vibrational Energy? Are Humans Vibrational Beings?

Omnia's science tells us that each cell or atom is a torus field of spinning electical current, or light. All of us are living, breathing cell towers of energy - and we don’t mean this metaphorically. Scientists have used atomic microscopes to find that all atoms and molecules that make up matter are constantly giving and receiving electromagnetic energy waves, and endlessly vibrating as a result.

This means that all atoms, from a table to a rock to a human being, all matter is consists of wave fields of energy - each vibrating at a unique frequency! And these millions and billions of vibrations happening within us at a nanoscale come together to form a responsive feedback loop with our thoughts, behaviors and actions.

From the vibration of our atoms, the perpetual rhythm of our heartbeat, the flow of our breath, down to the day-night circadian cycle we obey - these are all examples of rhythms that human beings follow and depend on to live and thrive.

What Does Energetic Balance Feel Like?

We are constantly interacting with the energies of the places and people around us. And when the energy within us and around us is in balance with each other, we feel:

  • Grounded and calm
  • Emotionally balanced
  • Physically and mentally healthy
  • Optimistic
  • Creative and productive
  • Motivated to achieve your goals

This state of energetic equilibrium is necessary for our physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing. It makes us feel light, creative, and connected to the creative source - from which our universe and everything in it has come forth.

What Does It Mean To Have Imbalanced Energy?

No matter who we are, there are days when we feel anxious, restless, and ‘all over the place’. If this state continues for days on end, then it is a sign that we are experiencing imbalanced energy. Such a state can trigger the release of stress hormones within our body and have ripple effects on our thoughts, actions, and overall health.

Imbalanced inner energy can make us feel

  • Anxious and restless
  • Scared, threatened
  • Prone to bursts of anger
  • Unproductive, demotivated
  • Feelings of negativity
  • Mentally sluggish
  • Insecure

As you can see, being in this state of energetic imbalance can be harmful to us in the long run.

There are several things that can throw off your energy balance - it could be work stress, relationship troubles, being surrounded by negativity, or something as quick as reading about stressful news online.

7 Ways To Balance Your Vibrational Energy

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.”
- Albert Einstein

We’ve got to agree with Einstein here - everything that is off-balance can find its way back into balance - if we keep moving and take the right steps! All life whether still or moving is energy in motion and we can learn to work with the motion so that it is our friend. On that note, here are some beautiful, tried, and tested ways by which you can bring our inner energy back into balance:

1. Breath Work

Our breath is literally our life force - but so often, we don’t pay attention to the way we breathe. Studies have shown the many benefits of breathing in a slow, controlled manner - which is called mindful breathing. This can slow down our heartbeat, and activate areas of the brain that comfort, relax and calm us. This helps connect us to the present moment - away from the fears of the past and the insecurity of the future. The only moment that matters is now.

To do this, sit or stand comfortably, and you can also choose to gently place a hand on your belly. Then, slowly breathe in through your nose and pay attention to how your lungs and belly expand with the oxygen. Then, slowly exhale and imagine your lungs emptying the air as the belly flattens down. Do this for 10-15 breaths, or as long as you wish to feel in balance.

2. Gratitude & Meditation

Gratitude has powerful and long-lasting effects on your energy and your brain. Studies have shown that people who make it a habit to count their blessings and feel thankful are more likely to feel happier and less depressed. Feeling grateful for the life you live has a positive and calming effect on your nervous system, and reduces the level of stress hormones in your body.

You could do a little 10-minute gratitude meditation early in the morning or even before you go to bed - slowly, count the things in your life that you are grateful for - it could be your friends, family, your hobbies, or even something small that happened during the day. Allowing yourself to be grateful to the Creator and the Creation is also a very powerful energy to be in.

3. Immerse Yourself In Nature

When we are holed up in a room or house for too long, it can make us feel disconnected from the world and others. A beautiful way to balance your vibrational energy is to be outdoors in the natural sun, greenery, and reconnecting with the Earth.

Scientific research has shown that the practice of ‘Earthing’, or standing barefoot on Earth - can have countless positive effects on our physical and mental health - encouraging better sleep and less pain. Studies reveal that surrounding yourself with nature and natural sound waves can reduce stress, fatigue, lower blood pressure and instill a sense of peace.

4. Healthy Relationships & Setting Boundaries

When we surround ourselves with people who genuinely care for us, it has a profound effect on our well-being. This also means that we must be mindful of people who may be draining our energy and throwing our lives off-balance.

It’s important to be considerate of who we let into our lives and share our vulnerable selves with - if you find that some people in your life constantly deride you, put you down, and manipulate you, then it’s a big sign to set boundaries with them and to question whether they deserve to be in your inner circle.

5. Healthy Diet

“We are what we eat” - this saying is as timeless as it is true. Food is how we fuel our body with energy, so the quality of what we eat and drink has a direct effect on our energetic balance. Eating ‘high-prana’ food refers to eating food items with a high life force and nutrition - this means whole grains, fresh vegetables, nuts, and a variety of fruits. A balanced diet of high-prana foods will fuel your physical and mental well-being, and help you feel emotionally balanced.

In contrast, eating highly processed, overly refined, salty, fried and high sugar foods will give you little to no nutrition - and can cause health problems and throw your gut health out of balance. This will make you feel sluggish, unproductive, and demotivated. Remember, our gut and brain are in direct connection - so a calm and happy gut means a calm and happy you!

6. Self-Care Rituals

Sometimes, we get so caught up in our lives, jobs, and taking care of others that we forget about caring for ourselves. This is not sustainable - physically or emotionally - because how will you give energy to other people and tasks if you’re not feeding energy to yourself? Take some time out every day to indulge yourself in a self-care routine where the only focus on care and attention is you, you, and you!

It could be something as simple as spending half an hour in the morning with a cup of tea by your window, soaking up the sun. It could be a little yoga routine, light reading, or indulging in any hobby that makes you happy. It could even mean taking time out to do absolutely nothing!

7. Aligning The Ambient Energy Around You

As you already know, our phones, smart TV, wi-fi routers, laptops, and other wireless devices are constantly giving off low levels of wireless radiation. When this ambient vibrational energy field is not in resonance with our own, it causes dissonance within our body - which can throw off our inner balance. This is where the Omnia Radiation Balancer, or the ORB, works its magic. Applying the ORB to your device brings the EMF radiation around us into resonance and harmony with our vibrational energy.

Wonderful article Dandelion and what a fab name you have.

You covered lots of great practices to do. I would just add one more. I find standing outside at night looking at the moon and stars very soothing and calming too. Best wishes xx
